HB Honored as 2014 AIA Builder of the Year

West Palm Beach, FL (July 2014) Hedrick Brothers Construction Co., Inc., one of the largest, locally-owned construction management and general contracting firms based in Palm Beach County, was presented with the AIA Florida 2014 Builder of the Year Award at the American Institute of Architects Florida (AIA Florida) 2014 Annual Convention in Miami, Florida. This award recognizes a company or firm in Florida who has exemplified a sincere and genuine interest in encouraging and affecting outstanding craftsmanship and workmanship in the performance of work. The company was nominated by REG Architects, Inc. for their performance together on a Private Equestrian and Polo Facility in Palm Beach County, Florida.

The mission colonial style Private Equestrian and Polo Facility project rests on 60 acres in Palm Beach County, Florida. Features include: a polo barn, hunter jumper stable, residence, exterior horse wash stations with wood trellis and bougainvillea, groom’s quarters, caretaker/equipment building, regulation-size polo field, stick and ball field, outdoor sand ring, paddocks, horse walker, bridle paths, site hardscape, landscape, and utilities.
