Hedrick Brothers Construction was selected by Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach to provide design-build services for a complete renovation to the Lassiter Hall Student Center, including Fraser Dining Hall and the kitchen. We put together a great team including AW Architects, Boca Raton; Food Design Associates, Charlotte, NC; JLRD Consulting Engineers, West Palm Beach; and ONM&J Structural Engineers, West Palm Beach. Preconstruction has been completed and construction is on-going. Completion is scheduled for August in time to welcome students as they return for the Fall 2020 semester.

The HB Luxury Residential team has completed a new guest residence in Palm Beach, FL. Aesthetically designed to resemble the main residence, the 6,000 SF project was completed in 10 months and includes heated flooring and marble slab walls, floors and shower in the master bathroom; beautiful wall coverings throughout the residence; ornamental aluminum railings; and motorized gates. The State of Florida, Department of Military Affairs, Florida National Guard hired the HB team for a two-phased project at the James B. Callaway Armed Forces Reserve Center, 3181 and 3193 Gun Club Road, West Palm Beach, FL. A complete renovation of an existing two-story, 57,474 SF facility was completed in Phase 1 and included selective demolition (interior and exterior), new structural steel, waterproofing and new roof, plumbing, lighting fixtures, HVAC equipment, main electrical system, and mass communication systems.
Phase 2 was recently completed with the construction of a new split-faced block storage building, three acres of compacted crushed concrete/rock for military vehicle parking, dry retention, underground drainage including a new outfall to SFWMD C-51 Canal, as well as fencing, landscaping and irrigation throughout the site. A Palm Beach residence has received the HB Luxury Residential team expertise. The main house scope of work included new windows and doors, interior and exterior painting, exterior stucco, and lighting controls. In addition, a new cabana was built featuring a ceiling constructed of reclaimed hardwood flooring, and a new pool was installed with a mechanical cover.
