Hedrick Brothers Construction Announces Team Promotions

Sean Burnie has been promoted to the role of Vice President of Preconstruction and Business Development for the Commercial Division. In his new role, Sean will oversee the Estimating, Virtual Design & Construction, Marketing and Business Development teams. He joined the company in 2017 as a Project Manager and was previously Director of Preconstruction Services. Sean earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from California State College Sacramento and was partner/owner at Clark-Sullivan in California prior to his relocation to South Florida. He serves as a Board Member of the Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce and Member of the Leadership Broward Class XXXIX.

Robin Lunsford has been promoted to the role of Senior Project Executive for the Commercial Division. Robin joined the company in 1995 as a Superintendent and has held the roles of Project Manager, Senior Project Manager and Project Executive in his 26-year tenure. He has invaluable knowledge of local conditions and costs, and experience in building and renovating historic, commercial and luxury residential projects throughout South Florida. In 2007, he received the American Institute of Architects-Palm Beach Chapter Craftsman of the Year Award for his work on the historic restoration of the Palm Beach County 1916 Historic Courthouse.

Heather Thomas has been promoted to the role of Controller. Heather joined the company in 2018 as an Accounting Manager. She has more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry with roles in finance and project management. Heather earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, as well as a Construction Management Certificate, from Florida Atlantic University.
