West Palm Beach, FL (January 2020)…Hedrick Brothers Construction has completed the new 17,809 square foot Morton & Barbara Mandel Recreation Center for the Town of Palm Beach at 340 Seaview Avenue. The public areas of the new center feature three multi-purpose rooms for expanded programs, a central table games activity room, a new gymnasium, a state of the art fitness center and snack bar, as well as the replacement of the 90,000 square foot multi-purpose field – to be known as Oakley Debbs Field, a playground that is twice the size of the current playground, a new outdoor basketball / sport court, a tennis viewing pavilion and landscaped grounds. The project architect was Stephen Boruff, AIA Architects + Planners, Inc., West Palm Beach, FL.
