DALE R. HEDRICK, CGC
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Fourth-generation general contractor Dale R. Hedrick is the CEO of Hedrick Brothers Construction, a privately-owned firm he founded in 1979. Headquartered in West Palm Beach, with offices in Melbourne and Winter Park, the full-service, quality-driven firm provides preconstruction, construction management, design-build, general contracting, and virtual design and construction services. Hedrick Brothers is committed to providing construction solutions for the most challenging and complex projects and has a distinct and proven reputation for its trademark level of attention to detail, impeccable craftsmanship, professional project management, streamlined processes, and uncompromising service, all while conducting business with the highest level of integrity.

Hedrick Brothers Construction serves the public and private sectors in Florida, and its diversified commercial portfolio comprises Class A office, aerospace, multifamily, hospitality, municipal, and education projects. The company has a dedicated division for building and renovating world-class luxury homes, condominiums, equestrian estates, and historic and landmark properties for those who appreciate the intrinsic value of quality in legacy homes.

Dale is also the CEO of Hedrick Brothers Development, which develops, owns, and manages institutional-grade multifamily, commercial, and industrial properties, and is CEO of Hedrick Brothers Environmental, which focuses on innovative shoreline hardening and water quality.

Planning for the industry's future, Dale supports youth leadership, construction management, and trade programs in Florida. In the community, he serves in leadership positions as a Member and Past Chairman, the Industry Advisory Board (IAB), University of Florida, M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Construction Management; Past President of the State Council of the Associated General Contractors of America; Past Board Member and President of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) Florida East Coast Chapter; Member, Economic Council of Palm Beach County; Trustee Member, Past Board President, Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce; Member, Past Board Member, Business Development Board of Palm Beach County; Trustee Member, Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches; and Member, Board of Trustees, BIZPAC.

Dale's honors include 2019 Inductee to the M.E. Rinker, Sr., School of Construction Management Construction Hall of Fame at the University of Florida; 2015 University of Florida M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Construction Management Distinguished Alumnus Award; 2015 World Leaders Group Servant Leader of the Year Award; 2010 South Florida Business Journal Palm Beach Ultimate CEO Award; 2008 Sun Sentinel Excalibur Award for Small Business Person of the Year; and 2001 Palm Beach Atlantic University American Free Enterprise Companion Medal. Company awards include AIA Florida Builder of the Year 2014 and 2012; AIA Palm Beach Builder of the Year 2019, 2013, 2011, 2007, and 2001; 16 AGC Florida East Coast Chapter Build Florida Awards; 8 ABC Florida East Coast Excellence in Construction Awards; and the 2014 Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches Business of the Year.

Dale Hedrick was born and raised in West Palm Beach, FL. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from the M. E. Rinker, Sr. School of Building Construction at the University of Florida. Dale is a member of Family Church Downtown. He is married to Cathleen Burk, has three sons, and resides in West Palm Beach. He enjoys boating, hunting, reading, and spending time with his family.

GENE PARKER
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER & PRESIDENT-LUXURY RESIDENTIAL DIVISION

Gene Parker joined Hedrick Brothers Construction in 1983 as a general superintendent and has advanced his career to COO and President of the Luxury Residential Division and Corporate Officer. For over 40 years, he has overseen the development of hundreds of projects and has led the company’s pursuit of total quality management and superior client satisfaction. Gene’s hands-on approach includes executive-level project management for the renovation, restoration, and new construction of world-class luxury residential homes and condominiums, equestrian estates, country clubs, high-end retail boutiques, and commercial properties on Palm Beach.

 

BURK HEDRICK
PRESIDENT OF DEVELOPMENT

Burk Hedrick joined Hedrick Brothers Development in 2022.  He has over 17 years of experience with construction and real estate development projects totaling over 7,000 units throughout the State of Florida. He has held prior roles with Aventon Companies and Bainbridge Companies. Burk is based in the company's Winter Park office with a focus on multifamily, office, and industrial development as an owner/developer. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction with a minor in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Real Estate from the University of Florida. He maintains licenses as a State of Florida Certified General Contractor and Real Estate Broker.

ERIC ENGSTROM, CPA, MBA
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Eric Engstrom joined the Hedrick Brothers Construction team in 2011 with extensive experience in the accounting and construction industries in Palm Beach County. As CFO, Eric Engstrom is responsible for the Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Safety, and Information Technology departments, as well as general business matters, management of all insurance lines including Workers’ Compensation, General Liability, Property & Casualty, Health and related, Employers Liability, and the company’s bonding and banking relationships. As CFO of the privately held Hedrick Brothers Construction, Eric is also responsible for overseeing the financial and business-related matters including general accounting, contracts and operations for  additional companies owned by the founder of Hedrick Brothers Construction. The companies are in various industries including commercial rentals, vacant land, and energy-efficient products.

PATRICK PAINTER
VICE PRESIDENT OF BUSINESS AND LEGAL AFFAIRS

Patrick Painter serves as the in-house legal counsel for Hedrick Brothers Construction, overseeing all legal and business matters for the company and its subsidiaries. His active role in management and operations includes the development of strategies that enhance business performance by reducing risk, boosting revenue, and influencing company culture. Before joining Hedrick Brothers Construction, he gained valuable experience with North American Development Group and Broad and Cassel, specializing in construction and real estate law, including transactions, development, land use, zoning, and corporate law. Patrick earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida's Fredric G. Levin College of Law and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Florida. His dedication extends to his community involvement: he is on the Board of Directors for the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches, a Board Member at the YMCA of the Palm Beaches, on the Board of Trustees at Good Shepherd Episcopal School, and a Council Member for the Village of Tequesta.

BILL WOLFFORD
DIRECTOR OF  PRECONSTRUCTION SERVICES

Bill Wolfford brings decades of diverse and technical expertise to his role as Director of Preconstruction Services. His extensive experience spans roles such as Corporate Officer, Vice President, Operations Manager, Project Manager, and Chief Estimator. Bill excels in developing concept and preliminary budgets for various delivery methods, including hard bids, negotiated, design-build, CM Agency, and CM-at-Risk. He also leads due diligence, contract negotiation, and material procurement efforts. Bill leverages his knowledge of civil, mechanical, and electrical systems to drive innovative solutions and deliver exceptional project outcomes, instilling confidence in his and his team’s abilities.

Bill also excels in negotiating and managing contracts, project and labor management, technical writing, logistics, and scheduling. His commitment to safety and quality is evident in his project successes. Bill’s expertise in best-value proposals, value engineering, and value alignment ensures that his projects consistently meet budget and safety standards without compromising quality. OSHA 30 and CPR certified, Bill is also well-versed in regulatory standards at local, state, and federal levels.

Bill's exemplary leadership is a cornerstone of his professional approach. Embracing a servant leadership style, he is dedicated to supporting and empowering his teams. His commitment to mentoring and fostering collaborative environments is unwavering, ensuring that each project benefits from his strategic oversight.

A proud USMC veteran who served in Desert Storm, Bill is a graduate of Old Dominion University with a degree in Business Administration and Computer Science. When not working at his craft, Bill enjoys spending time with his children and grandson. Bill is an avid Harley-Davidson owner and rider, as well as a private pilot.

ARTHUR MILLER
DIRECTOR OF COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS

Arthur Miller brings over three decades of construction experience in the South Florida marketplace to his role at Hedrick Brothers Construction. Since joining Hedrick in 2016, his diverse portfolio spans high-tech aerospace, prestigious country clubs, Class A office spaces, and premier educational projects. Earlier in his career, he specialized in high-end tenant buildouts for retail, dining, and office establishments. Beginning as a Field Superintendent, Arthur has steadily advanced into pivotal roles such as General Superintendent, Construction Manager, and Project Executive. He now holds the position of Director of Commercial Operations. He serves as the company's Safety Officer and is a mentor with the Forest Hills Community High School's Engineering Academy in West Palm Beach. Arthur is a State of Florida Certified General Contractor (CGC) with a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University. His career is a testament to his commitment to excellence and safety in the construction industry.

JOE MORIN
PROJECT EXECUTIVE, LUXURY RESIDENTIAL

Joe Morin is a seasoned construction professional with a 20-year career, including 12 years in South Florida, specializing in world-class luxury residential projects on Palm Beach and Jupiter Island, and equestrian estates in Wellington. As a Project Executive in the Luxury Residential Division, Joe oversees business development, estimating, preconstruction, and project management teams. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He has received numerous accolades for his exceptional project management skills, including the Eagle Award for Excellence in Construction by the Associated Builders and Contractors Florida East Coast Chapter in 2023 and 2021; the Build Florida Award by the Associated General Contractors Florida East Coast Chapter in 2014; and Builder of the Year honors from both the American Institute of Architects State of Florida and the American Institute of Architects Palm Beach in 2014.

LISA HENDRICKS
DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES

Lisa Hendricks has over 30 years of experience in management and human resources. She has managed law firms in Washington D.C, Nashville TN, Lexington KY and Asheville NC which included roles as Legal Administrator and Chief Operating Officer. In addition, Lisa provided consulting services to a range of businesses through her own firm for over 10 years. She has been active in the communities where she has lived and served on several boards including National Association of Women Business Owners – Lexington Chapter as President, and President of the Kentucky Association of Legal Administrators. Lisa is a member of The Society of Human Resources Management Palm Beach County Chapter. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and French from Georgetown College.
