Hedrick Brothers Construction has completed a new 163,000 SF student residence hall on the Palm Beach Atlantic University campus, 351 Pembroke Place, West Palm Beach, FL, for developer Pembroke Student Housing LLC. The eight-story building consists of 154 one and two-bedroom units with full kitchens and double occupancy accommodations for 510 beds, an ample meeting/conference space, and community and private study spaces on each floor. The project was delivered under budget and ahead of schedule. Collaboration and communication enabled the team to work within an urban area on an occupied campus under tight site constraints.
