West Palm Beach, FL (September 2013) Hedrick Brothers Construction has completed the Construction Management contract for the 13,500 square foot expansion and renovation of the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium located at 4801 Dreher Trail North, West Palm Beach, Florida. Highlights of the project include the new entrance, lobby, museum store and restrooms; expanded aquarium and lab area; renovated traveling exhibit hall; hardscape and landscape. Value enhancements with energy savings include LED lighting inside and outside, Lutron lighting controls with dimming capability, bi-polar ionization, and a white fleece-back TPO roofing system. Song + Associates, Inc. was the project architect.
