HEDRICK BROTHERS CONSTRUCTION ANNOUNCES NEW STUDENT RESIDENCE HALL DEVELOPMENT FOR PALM BEACH ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY

Hedrick Brothers Construction announced today they have been selected by developer Pembroke Student Housing LLC to build a new student residence hall on the campus of Palm Beach Atlantic University at 351 Pembroke Place, West Palm Beach, FL. The 163,000+ square foot, eight-story building will consist of 154 one and two-bedroom units with double occupancy accommodations for 510 beds. Construction is underway and completion is anticipated for Q3 2020.

“The University is responding to student requests for additional campus housing along with more amenities built into the new residence,” Palm Beach Atlantic University President William M. B. Fleming, Jr. said. “The growing interest in campus residency corresponds with research that shows living on campus helps students succeed at higher levels both academically and in their development as young adults.”

The new student residence hall will have apartment style units with full kitchens, a large meeting/conference space and community and private study spaces on each floor.
